The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has arrived! This sale presents the best opportunity of the year for investing in key Fall pieces prior to the season beginning. If you aren’t quite in the Fall frame of mind, this year, there are also a ton of buy-now-wear-now pieces to take advantage of! The lineup of sale products is truly amazing and I had so much fun styling out some of my fall forward favorites earlier this week (click here to see the post). Today, I am highlighting a few more favorite picks by category, with details and links below!
I adore stripes, so it comes as no surprise that my first outerwear pick is a bold blue-on-blue striped coat. Plaids always signal signs of Fall, and this beautiful Houndstooth blazer is the perfect transition piece for when the days start to get just a bit cooler. The tonal buttons on this red faux-fur trimmed number provide just the right updates to a standard peacoat silhouette, making it a great investment for Fall. Speaking of, Burberry also has a gorgeous military inspired peacoat in the sale this year!
I am continuing my cropped denim kick into Fall! The faded black wash of the first Frame pair offers a slightly longer rise and frayed hems, perfect for showing off your favorite Fall footwear. My next pick are the perfect cropped blue skinnies, a total steal and wardrobe must-have at under $40! Lastly, I needed to add a flare to the mix! These high waisted jeans have an amazing transitional wash and would be perfect with a Fall loafer!
I’m a sucker for bows and ties (also love this one) so it’s no surprise that two of my three picks fall in that camp. I had to also add in the above gathered neck blouse. The ruffles are too cute! I’m also loving this prep-with-an-edge puffed sleeve rugby sweater that is in the sale. So good!
SHOES: ten // eleven // twelve
The three footwear silhouettes above are all high on my list for Fall, and all of course available in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Platform soled loafers have just the right amount of attitude and are so easy to wear with cropped skinnies or a rolled up, looser boyfriend jean. Over the knee boots are more dramatic, but the chunky block heel on the pair above makes them so much more practical. Finally, ankle booties will be making a return to my Fall rotation this season, perfect back to my favorite Spanx that are also available in the sale! Lastly, I had my eye on these block heeled pumps as well. A total steal at under $80 and available in three color and a print!

Oversized or undersized? I can’t decide so I am choosing both! I’ll be on quite a cardigan kick as the weather cools, and the two slouchy and draped options above are ideal for those transitional laid back looks. I also love the oversized collegiate feel of this one! In the undersized camp, Veronica Beard presents this cropped beauty complete with the woven shirttail inset! A cute option to get the look of layering without the bulk!
