OUTERWEAR UPDATE // AETHER APPAREL
Today I am highlighting one of my favorite high-performance lifestyle brands, Aether Apparel. This season, there are a few new Fall outerwear styles that are catching my eye!
The Madison Jacket – This modern take on a classic trench is available in both Navy and Dark Grey Charcoal. Detail such as the raw edge seems, oversize collar, and more dramatic pockets differentiate from a typical trench, while the wool/nylon fabric keep the look more contemporary.
The Mercer Jacket – A beautiful bomber made from an Italian wool/nylon blend, this jacket is the perfect Fall piece (see my newest post featuring this jacket here). The relaxed boyfriend fit, zippered hand pockets, and elasticated hem are my favorite details! I’ll be wearing this jacket all Fall with skinny denim and booties.
The Hayes Vest – This is the perfect, lightweight insulate vest for wearing on it’s own or layering. The flattering A-line shape, split and drop-hem details, and the fact that it is reversible (one side quilting panels, one side solid), make it a great standalone piece to wear over your favorite chunky sweater. Once the weather dips, throw a great drop shoulder oversized wool jacket over the top and use this as its layering companion.
The Ozone Jacket – I love lightweight quilted jackets that are more form fitting, and the Ozone fits the bill perfectly. The stretch fleece panels under the arms is my favorite detail, as it allows for breathability and movement, and helps to create the slimmer fit. I’m going to wear this jacket on it’s own and also under a shell when the tougher weather conditions begin in the city!
