THROWBACK //
I love a coordinated polka dot look (see today’s post for a winter example). The outfit above was from this post in March of 2016 and has me dreaming of warmer weather!
Question: Do you have an absolute favorite item in your closet, or a favorite outfit that you keep going back to?
Answer: Each season I fall in love with a few key pieces that I end up wearing and re-wearing. This past season it had to be these Sea pants (seen here), these Madewell jeans, these loafers, and this Topshop coat (seen here). But, over the years there have been a few items that have really stood the test of time. The polka dot equipment top from today’s post was actually first seen on my site back in 2011. I’ve worn it hundreds of times since. And don’t ask me why, but I still cherish a particular Men’s black and grey striped cashmere sweater from Old Navy – it debuted on the blog way back in 2010! In terms of a favorite outfit, when I want to look put together but comfortable, I will typically start with a full skirt and add chic flats and a simple top (99% of the time it will be striped)!
