SPRING SHOES // THE 5 STYLES YOU NEED

New spring shoes! There are five styles that are on my radar this spring. The unexpected espadrille is at the top of my list this season. Be it with a bow accent or scallop straps in platform profile, or a wedge heel with a raffia embroidered floral motif, these not-so-normal espadrilles will compliment any little white dress for spring. Next up, the slide. Believe it or not, these are your perfect city shoe. Comfortable, easy, and with a minimal break in period (new spring, new blister is not a cute look). I’m favoring the braided woven leather and vintage-inspired rattan options (see my other post on woven shoes for spring here), but everyone knows I can’t pass up a single bow, let alone a double bow! The mule is your more feminine alternative to the loafer, and the pointy-toed mule differentiates just a bit further as it takes on a bit more trend. From a rebellious print to a solid classic to a low-heeled bow, these will all look equally chic back to a dress or skinny denim. You can’t head into spring without a new go-to sneaker, and this season, I’m trading in my typical all-white tennis shoe for something a bit more fun. From floral printed, to an all over green, to a pastel gingham (these are also available in pink!), there are cute options for all. And last but not least, the loafer. From the most traditional silhouette in a new must-have spring color, to a more feminine take on a classic (with a blocked heel!), to a driving loafer in a pretty pastel, all of these options are calling my name and I simply can’t pick a favorite!
