Even more of this stipe on the site today! This picture was taken in L.A. back in October of 2016. I was back on the west coast for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Match. Time flies – this year’s NY Polo Classic is just over a month away! It is always one of my favorite events of the year!
Question: I know you do not wear denim that often, but what are some of your favorite denim brands?
Answer: I typically only wear skinny jeans (or overalls) and I tend to gravitate towards brands that execute fit really well. Also, I only wear denim that has at least 1% stretch. I find denim that is 100% cotton to be uncomfortable and usually have horrible recovery (meaning once they stretch out they never really regain their original shape). Considering I like to #showoffmyshoes I prefer a cropped skinny with no alterations and no scrunching at the ankles. Now that you know my thought process (sorry that was dramatic) my favorite brands are Madewell, Current/Elliott and L’AGENCE. Madewell is great for a high waisted skinny, the Current/Elliott ‘Stilletto’ has been in my closet for over six years and is a great lower rise option, and L’AGENCE offers the best black denim in the market – it simply doesn’t fade!
