Question: How do you discover new designers and/or up and coming talent?
Answer: I come across new designers and talent in so many different ways. Living in NYC and having many friends in the industry, I find a lot of new talent that I love through word of mouth (for example a friend of mine personally introduced me to Pamela Munson – who is now a favorite!). Believe it or not, I also come across quite a few on my discover page on Instagram. Since I already follow many newer designers, the algorithm (bad word to many, I know) does tend to feed me some pretty cool ones that I have yet to discover. I am also constantly checking out the ‘new designer’ section on sites I love like matches fashion, net-a-porter, and selfridges!
