No. 96 // THOUGHTS ON A RETURN TO CORPORATE AMERICA
THROWBACK //
One of my first trips down to Savannah and I fell in love with the city. The the architecture, the food, the weather, I love it all!
Question: Would you ever consider returning to a job in corporate america?
Answer: Absolutely! While I do not have any plans to go back at the moment, it is something I think about quite often. Many people don’t enjoy the structure and rigidness that can come with corporate environments, but I do not mind it at all. I was lucky to have really amazing experiences and learned so much working at both Gap HQ in San Francisco and Tory Burch HQ here in New York. At some point I will not want to be in front of the camera any longer, and with ten years of experience working in fashion merchandising, I would hope returning in some capacity would be an option. For years I have also toyed with the idea of starting my own business (that doesn’t involve me as the face of the brand) but we shall see! I’m trying my best to stay in the moment and not get too far ahead of myself.
