No. 117 // FOOD IN DUMBO
THROWBACK //
A look back to the very beginning of the year. Visiting one of my favorite places and dressed in one of my favorite jumpsuits!
Question: I heard you moved to Dumbo in Brooklyn. What are your favorite places to eat?
Answer: Lots of good options for food in Dumbo! Cecconi’s is classic Italian fare with great views of the Manhattan skyline. Love & Dough is fantastic for thin-crust Neapolitan pizza and mediterranean salads. Seamore’s recently opened on Water Street and is my go-to for healthy fish dishes and fresh oysters. For vegetable dishes and market sides – and quick takeout – Westville is a great option. Atrium and Almar are both fantastic and neighborhood staples. Gran Electrica is my favorite for Mexican. Superfine has a great bar menu and is open late! And, Shakeshack and Almondine Bakery, because duh.

This striped dress is on its way to me, and I can’t wait to wear it! I felt this was the perfect transitional piece, being just as adorable now with saddle colored sandals and a basket bag as it will be with great fall boots and a plush coat! Oh, it is also available in a very cute dot, but we all know I have enough polka dots in my closet. 🙂
