FALL ACCESSORY TRENDS:
THE CHAIN BAG
The chunky chains on these midsize bags feel fresh and new for fall, and not just due to the chain detail, but for the many new-to-me designer such as THE VOLON and GU_DE participating. There are of course, neutral, pair-with-everything options available along with a few in this seasons trendiest hues (hello lilac!). And, best of all, with options at all price points, this is certainly one of the fall accessory trends that everyone can participate in. As you have probably noticed, I’ve been big on chain bags over the past few weeks, wearing them here, here, and even two at a time, here! You can expect that to continue right into the fall season!

A BRIGHT TIGHT
Bright tights are the easiest (and cheapest) way to change your look and add color this fall. This cheap investment packs a major punch, and with color and maximalism coming back stronger this season, is more relevant than ever! Whether with a short skirt to show a lot of color, or back to cropped jeans for just a peek, bright tights are a great way to accent color in your newest fall looks. COIN NECKLACES
To be honest, over the past few seasons, I have not been investing all that heavily in jewelry. This fall, with coin necklaces, I can sense a change (get it?)! Coin necklaces are equally appropriate back to open necklines (such as in this post) as they are resting atop chunky sweaters. They are super fun to collect and to mix and match, in fact, the more the merrier! This fall, they are the easiest way to achieve a layered look at an introductory price point. As an example, this option and this option ring in (get it again?) at under $30 and under $50, proving that coin necklaces are investment that won’t break the bank (okay, I’m done)!

THE STATEMENT EARRING
Everything comes full circle, and this season I am once again falling hard for statement earrings as one of the key fall accessory trends. I am loving autumnal shades and more interesting, playful shapes, and in particular, the return of hearts (these are probably number one on my wish list). From studs to drops there is something specific for everyone! This fall, I am going to challenge myself to wear statement earrings not just with evening looks, but in unexpected ways with more casual outfits!
