FINALLY FALL // MY FAVORITE COATS UNDER $300
Outerwear has to be my favorite category to shop. This time of year I am on the hunt for all the perfect final layering pieces to add to my collection. Right now, Nordstrom has a huge selection of outerwear at under $300 – from chic, to plaid, to faux fur, to cozy, to the perfect basic staples. A few of my favorites below…

Coat: Avec Les Filles (shop more of their collection here). Sweater: Ulla Johnson (also love this blush puff sleeve sweater from Ulla Johnson, this short sleeve puff polka dot sweater and this oversized dot jumper!). Denim: J Brand (you know how I love a high rise, wide leg with a wide cuff- these are fall perfection). Pumps: sold out, similar here at $120. Sunglasses: Saint Laurent. Lips: Stila ‘Beso’.
My Favorite Coats Under $300 //
one – Check it! This furry friend is a quick way to add pattern into your closet while keeping it neutral.
two – It’s faux furs galore in my closet. This green machine is the perfect length to wear back to skinny jeans and booties.
three – I never shy away from print or pattern. I thought this more traditional plaid was beautiful.
four – I love pops of color at unexpected times. The classic styling and detailing here are spot on.
five – The hit of emerald green in this plaid made this coat peaked my interest. I’ll be wearing a lot of emerald green this season and am already planning outfits around this beauty.
six – Soft and sky blue. This coat was made for color blocking back to the navy and cobalt pieces in your closet.
seven – A more sophisticated take on light blue for those keeping it more professional.
eight – I bought a floral coat last year and wasn’t sure how often I would wear it. A year later, it ended up being one of my most worn pieces of the season. At this price, this one if a steal!
nine – Browns and khakis are such great neutrals, especially if you love a great brown riding boot. Add skinny denim and a navy cable sweater and your look is complete!
ten – I’m sure you’ve noticed that polka dots are a year round thing for me. The navy and black combo allows me to wear it with nearly everything in my closet.
eleven – As you can tell plaid is high on my list for fall coats. I love the unexpected blanket fringe detailing.
twelve – Seeing stars! This coat is too fun for a night out with leggings and heels.
thirteen – If you love oversized (think double coat) this one if for you!
fourteen – If you aren’t looking for that oversized fit, well this one is calling your name. The nipped in waist and single button make for the perfect tailored look.
fifteen – A contrast collar and pinstripes? Sign me up! The subtle menswear details make me want to wear this back to trousers and a pair of loafers for a true borrowed-from-the-boys ensemble.
sixteen – This structured red topcoat is classic and elegant back to a striped sweater or more fun back to an animal print.
seventeen – This jacket just screams New England road trip. It is super warm and easy to pack – the exact type of coat I would get a ton of use out of this season for weekend trips.
eighteen – A lumberjack plaid but make it sporty!
