TRAVEL STYLE // COZY COMBINATIONS
Knit dress, under $100 and available in 10 colors! Also check out this flattering long sleeve dress and this dress – I own both and LOVE them. Coat: Topshop. Shoes: Golden Goose (also love this more affordable option at under $50 and comes in almost every color you can think of). Luggage: AWAY (I have the large hardshell and the carry-on, but am seriously considering the new ‘bigger carry-on‘). Also how cute are the travel stickers?!
One of the most frequent reader questions I receive is about my travel style. I travel A LOT, and over the years, have learned what works best for days on the move and long flights. To start, I don’t always opt for jeans and a tee as I feel there are much easier ways to stay comfortable and look more put together. One of my favorite combinations is a great knit dress or leggings with a layering piece and cool sneakers. With a knit dress I will usually opt for a lightweight jacket and with leggings, a cozy oversized sweater. P.S. if you are looking for some of the most cozy items around, check out the Lou & Grey selection at Nordstrom – they use really interesting fabric blends that provide texture and comfort.

Below are a few travel style combination ideas that I am totally into. Read more below…
A neutral knit dress is my go-to for longer travel days. I keep it polished with a patterned coat and streamlined monochromatic sneakers.
I have two tips for dressing up my favorite black leggings – a sophisticated statement coat and colorful luxe loafers!
This striped knit shift dress, with pockets, is another great casual option for the light packer. I would pair this with a longer olive green jacket (this GORE-TEX Nike option is lightweight and waterproof – super versatile) and a low top sneaker (love the pop of pink back to the olive).
You can wear white denim anytime of year! For travel, I prefer a high waisted skinny with a bit more stretch. This chic light blue striped sweater is a cotton/poly blend and features a mock neck, for added warmth on cold plane rides. And, these matching monochromatic sneakers are too cute!
You can rarely go wrong with coated skinnies, an oversized cozy sweater, and flats. A fresh color combination always puts me in a happy mood and gets my long travel days off on the right foot. This red, brown, and pink color blocked combo is a bit more unexpected, and the pointy toe flats dress it up a bit!
