SUPPORT SMALL BRANDS PART II //

Hey everyone! I’ve decided to keep it going with another post supporting small brands, independent designers, and female led retail companies that I love. You can see the first round up here. Today I am continuing to highlight incredibly creative brands that inspire me and that I hope will inspire you as well. There is no doubt coronavirus has impacted businesses all over the globe so I am trying to give as much support I can to those who could use a little extra love right now. Keep scrolling to see ten more of my favorites…

LA VIE // La Vie Style House was started by two fashion industry insiders back in 2013. Both founders have an affinity for vintage fashion and playful silhouettes and it resulted in an original collection of incredible one size fits all caftans. The brand now makes both caftans and wraps and I am constantly in awe of the new, gorgeous pieces that they continue to deliver to their growing audience. See my wearing La Vie Style House here and here.

ACLER // Acler’s two female founders are the modern day masters of shape and drape. All of their designs are meticulously constructed and developed over a full year, resulting in amazing sculptural and refined individual pieces. The co-designers have a goal of bringing design back to its tactile roots, and they are off to such an incredible start! See me wearing Acler here and here!

gu_de // The brand gu_de was launched in 2016 by designer Ji Hye Koo, who was inspired by the mood of the 1970’s. The brand’s philosophy is to achieve timeless beauty through unique design, high quality materials and craftsmanship, and reasonable prices. You can check out a few more of my gu_de pieces here, here, and here.

LELE SADOUGHI // You’ve heard me rave about this brand before, but too much is never enough! As you may well know, Lisa, the founder, and I worked together at Tory Burch years ago. Her knowledge of – and passion for – jewelry design is completely jaw dropping and inspiring. I’m so fortunate to call her a friend and I am so proud to see her namesake label thriving! You can see a few of my favorite all-time Lele looks here, here, and here.

FRY POWERS // If you are looking for fun, unique pearls and colorful enamels, check out Frye Powers. I’ve fallen hard for their rainbow enamel stacking rings (see here) as well as their mixed baroque pearl collar necklaces (shown above). The brand’s ‘recycle it’ program is so rad as well. Just send them your pre-loved pearls and let them work their magic and perform a unique makeover. Learn more about the program here and check out those incredible before and after photos!

SILVIA TCHERASSI // Silvia Tcherassi is a force. I love, love her brand and I look up to her as a woman and a leader. Silvia’s ready-to-wear collections are so dreamy and refined and seem to get better and better each season. I’ve been lucky enough to wear her beautiful designs for so many special occasions in my life. Fun fact, Silvia also owns an incredibly chic hotel and spa in Cartagena that I was so fortunate to visit a few years ago! Check it out here. You can see me rocking the brand here, here and here.

SELF-SAME // Self-Same is a new-to-me U.K. based brand that focuses on trend-driven accessories at affordable prices. A beaded pearl straw bag? Yes please! Make sure to check out the chic pearl embellished beach hats as well!

LAPIMA // LAPIMA is a sunglass brand founded in 2016 by Gisela and Gustavo Assis, a Brazilian couple. The brand’s handmade designs blend modern lines with vintage elegance and are crafted individually from Italian acetate. I’m smitten with so many of their shapes- you can see me wearing some of their designs here, here and here.

CESTA COLLECTIVE // Cesta Collective has a goal of creating beautiful products while making a difference. All of the brand’s beautiful basket bags are woven with love by female artisans in Rwanda, Africa using locally sourced resources. The dusty pink lunchpail bag I am carrying in the shot above features a unique pink velvet handle that is backed by nude Italian nappa leather. They are hosting their first ever sample sale and you can check it out here (spoiler alert my bag is included!)!

ERIC JAVITS // Eric Javits’s hat designs are objects of art! I’ve been so lucky to get to know Eric and his team over the past few years as I wear his creations constantly! You can see a few of my most recent Eric Javits looks here, here, and here. Fun fact: Eric and his team also now make bags! Lately I’ve been carrying the Lil’ Mambo in Fiesta. With its raffia fringe and bamboo handle, its as colorful as it is cute!
