MY HOME TOUR CONTINUED //

Thank you so much for all of your kind comments, likes, shares, sweet DMs, and thoughtful emails concerning my home reveal. I feel so incredibly grateful for your continued support each and every day! Many of you inquired if I would be sharing additional areas of the house. To be honest, some spaces aren’t done quite yet. The master bedroom, pool house, office, and large outdoor sitting area are all projects we have yet to tackle. However, I thought I would give you peek into one of the guest rooms, my favorite bathroom, and the sunroom. Scroll down to see more of these fun, bright spaces!

THE GREEN GUEST ROOM //

I love how this guest room came together! While I believe it flows with the rest of the house, the intention was for this space to feel a bit different from the modern and clean vibe of the living and dining areas. I loved the touches of caning on this Serena and Lily harbour cane bed and this side chair from Industry West. We started with those two pieces and then the rest kind of fell into place. I am always trying to find a good mix of high low pieces as well as new and old. The rug is vintage and the sideboard is from an old local motel, a piece we found on craigslist and then painted to match the wall. I also found quite a few of the little knick knacks on H&M Home. To be honest, I didn’t even know H&M offered home products until a few short months ago – such a pleasant surprise! My father helped in completing the back accent wall. I love how it adds interest and color but isn’t overwhelming.

This space isn’t 100% complete. The lamps are a goodwill find that we are hoping to replace, but just haven’t found the right ones quite yet. We are also in the process of completing the window treatments. My mother made a gorgeous striped roman shade for the black and white en suite bathroom and we are contemplating something similar for the window treatments for both the double glass door entryway as well as the french doors that lead to the back patio. So, stay tuned!

THE SUNROOM //

Well, well, well…more stripes! Are you surprised? I originally bought this black and white striped rug from IKEA for the transitional area (see it here). I loved it so much that I ended up picking up a matching one for the sunroom. I knew I wanted some pink in this room to tie back to the pink door, but I didn’t want just a pink, black, and white room. When I saw this pink and orange striped couch from The Inside I knew it would be perfect in matching the existing pieces while introducing a fun new color to the space. Similar to the guest room, this room is almost there, but not quite yet! We are still working on sourcing oversized artwork for the walls and have ordered these two sculptural side tables (which are not coming until June – hope they are worth the wait!). Eventually the plan is to add window shutters to all thirteen windows in the room, but for now, we are enjoying how clean, bright, and open the space feels.

THE PINK BATHROOM //

I went a little nuts on some of the tile in the bathrooms, and this all pink bathroom is quite the example! Initially when I was explaining the vision for this pink bathroom idea, it received a big side eye from more than a few unnamed family members. WELL, safe to say it has turned out to be one of everyone’s favorite spaces in the house. 🙂 Apparently matte pink tile isn’t all the rage. After searching and searching and searching some more, I finally got my hands on the very last of this discontinued square pink tile at an incredible discount (it came out to less than $500). The light fixtures are from CB2 and Cedar + Moss and I found all the cute pink vases on Amazon (here, here, and here).

You can see the living room, dining area, outdoor space and kitchen right over here. Questions? Please ask away in the comments section below!
