DRESSED UP DRESSES

Dress: ASHISH // Shoes: Tamara Mellon

I am always looking for a reason to dress up! Over the past two years, despite having little reason to dress up, I have been craving cocktail attire even more. I’m back in NYC and brushed off my high heels and threw on a party dress to celebrate – well – just being back in the city for a bit! Today I am highlighting a few dressed up dresses and party pieces that I have been eyeing and mentally styling…

RED OFF-SHOULDER MINI DRESS

Va va voom! An off the shoulder dress in the most beautiful shade of red. I love this piece for a fun outdoor cocktail party. Since it is a bit on the shorter side, I’d pair with these satin flats.

ORANGE SLEEVELESS DRAPE-FRONT DRESS

This shade of orange is so beautiful for fall. I have been eyeing these floral drop sequin earrings that would perfectly compliment this stunning drape front dress.

YELLOW TIE FRONT A-LINE DRESS

The perfect piece on this round up to dress up or dress down. To dress it up, I would add these dreamy star earrings (as seen here) as well as these metallic gold sandal heels.

LIME DRAPED NECKLINE DRESS

How about a monotone green look? This bold shade immediately caught my eye, and to mimic the double straps of the dress, I’d pair it back to these double strap sandals!

BLUE ORGANZA CUT OUT DRESS

A midi dress with sleeves in a must have in my book! I love the cut out details and the fact that the simple black waistband detail allows you to style this look with the black heels and bags that are already in your closet.

VIOLET OFF-SHOULDER TULLE DRESS

Elegant and soft, this pretty purple piece is wedding guest approved! This sequined headband and these slingback kitten heels feel like the perfect feminine finishing touches.

PINK ORGANZA SMOCK DRESS

I live for a puff sleeve moment – even more so when it arrives in pink! This organza dress would look precious with these pink shoes (I own them in blue!) and this matching it bag of the season.
