We are less than a month away from the official start of summer! To me Memorial Day Weekend always feels like the *unofficial* start of summer and always gets me thinking about summer wardrobe staples. Today I am breaking down seven pieces that are on my mind for the upcoming season!
Nothing screams summer like linen. These breezy wide leg pants are available in five neutral shades and are so easy to style. According to the reviews they do run quite large, so make sure to size down! If you are on the search for a great summer pant but linen isn’t your things check out these and these!
Ringing in at $50 this strappy slide sandal is a go-with-anything closet staple. If raffia isn’t your thing, it is available in several solid shades as well as embossed silver and gold. See more of my strappy sandal favorites here.
This stretchy tee features a mix of pima cotton, tencel modal, and spandex, giving it just the right amount of stretch and sheen. This tee fits more on the snug side, perfect for tucking into a skirt or denim shorts. IF you are looking for a more casual slub tee I am also a huge fan of this style. I did a full round up and review of my favorite tees in this post!
I have talked about these ballet flats a few times, including here! This lambskin leather model has a slightly higher vamp, which I love. It is also available in so many color options for any occasion.
Cutoff denim shorts can be tricky. If one thing is off it can all go wrong. My preference is a high waist, relaxed fit, no stretch, and minimal distressing. This vintage-inspired option checks the boxes – so versatile for summer! You can see how I styled them in this post and you can shop them in a longer length now here!
Platforms continue to be a staple for me. These retro platform sandals are available in both black raffia and beige raffia, each with matching leather piping. I would pair these with this top and this matching skirt.
Slightly cropped with 1% stretch is a great combination for white denim! A true summer closet workhorse. If you need ideas on how to style white pants, check out this post!
