HOME UPDATES

I have been making little home updates here and there. We are getting ready for a big install in September and then again in October, but until then I am just making tiny tweaks! My two go-to’s for furnishing our renovation have been this site and this site. Below are a few of the little home items that are bringing me joy this month…

A RUG UPDATE // We have had a rug in our office that we bought way back when we lived in the West Village. It is beautiful. But, after a few moves and regular wear and tear, it was simply time for it to go. I replaced it with this rug and it just happened to pull together all the existing colors of the room quite perfectly. It is also on sale this weekend. Check out this rug and this rug that I also adore.

IN THE KITCHEN // I just stocked up on my favorite olive oils (FYI a great hostess gift), replaced my very sad cutting boards with these, and love this new to me pan. I was recently gifted these dishcloths and this tea towel and I am adding them to my list of very favorite kitchen items! There are soooo many prints to choose from.

SUMMER SMELLS // Earlier this week I mentioned this sale here, but if you missed it, one of my favorite candle brands is running a very rare sale right now. You can shop it here. I plan to order a few as holiday gifts for friends and neighbors. Speaking of smells, I highly recommend this santal cleaner as well as this shower steamer set that feels ultra luxe!

IN THE BEDROOM // I have been going strong with my Hatch clock and these sheets that I shared a few months back. I started using the Hatch clock at the beginning of the year and it has made a noticeable difference in my sleep. I also love taking one of these before bed when I am feeling particularly wired or anxious. They put me right to sleep. Zzzz.
