SUMMER TRAVEL STYLE // THE BEAUTY EDIT

Travel sure can wreak havoc on your skin, hair and beauty routine. When I am on the go during the summer months, there are a few essentials I rarely travel without. Sharing them below!

EN ROUTE // What I am using in-flight

one // Lano rose scented hand cream is not only effective for my dry hands and cuticles, but also smells so magical. I also love the lemonade lip treatment here.

two // To hide my tired eyes, especially on those long red eye flights, I keep my under-eyes hydrated with Goop perfecting eye cream.

three // I have always struggled with split ends and fly aways and Kerastase Elixir is the perfect fix. I love how effective it is on dry hair.

four // This Sisley leave on eye mask is unbelievably easy to use. As a little pick-me-up and to feel perked up for arrival, I typically apply it 30 minutes before landing!

five // For a quick in-flight face mist I use Herbivore Rose. It is also perfect to use in the morning prior to applying moisturizer. For my lips, I am hooked on Smith and Cult. I love this formula for keeping my lips smooth and adding a slight tint (I use Linger Sigh).

six // To gently remove any makeup during flights I use Sisley. This formula is super effective for removing make-up and also has a welcomed added toner.

ON THE GROUND // What is getting checked away for my stay

one // I just recently started using this By Terry face cream and am impressed with how well it works on my skin. I have normal skin with a slightly oily t-zone and this rose scented lotion keeps my face hydrated without excess oil.

two // As I mentioned, my hair is prone to fly aways and split ends. Having thin, fine hair that is also color treated, I can’t apply too much heat without putting on protecting product. In the summer months, I travel with this Kerastase cream. It helps to smooth my hair and protect from the heat of drying and curling.

three // There is nothing more important than SPF in your beauty routine. My favorite SPF face product is Supergoop setting mist. It is a non-oily, non-fussy spray that goes on after my make up routine as the last step. Easy to pack, easy to use.

four // After washing my face each night I use Sisley Black Rose Precious Face Oil. This formula, which is completely plant based, has incredible anti-aging effects.

five // While I love serums for overnight use, I was on the hunt for a non-oily option that could absorb quickly and work well alongside with my daily lotion. By Terry has been my favorite serum for morning use, before applying lotion and concealer.

six // In humidity and heat my hair can get a bit lifeless and Kerastase VIP gives it the boost it needs.

seven // For a slight glow without the harmful UVs, and the added boost of exfoliant and anti-aging treatments, I use Dr. Dennis Gross. I love that they provide just the slightest hint of sun, not an over-the-top bronze.
