NEW BRAND LAUNCHES // FALL DENIM

Three of my go-to brands have recently launched denim! As new fall denim is on everybody’s shopping lists, I wanted to showcase these new offerings and highlight a few of my favorites.

EVERLANE:  one  //  two  //  three  //  four

EVERLANE launched their new denim collection last month to rave reviews – and an unbelievably long wait list! The company opted to focus on the classic versus trend or fashion and is offering three fits, a high-rise skinny, mid-rise skinny, and modern boyfriend. To expand the collection further, each skinny fit is available in a regular length and an ankle length. In keeping with the brands ethos around radical transparency, all of the denim is priced at just $68! I own the high-rise-skinny in black and have found them to be perfect for this transitional weather. I’ve been wearing them with loafers and oversized sweaters, but just as easily could opt for ankle booties and outerwear instead. I was first introduced to Everlane living in San Francisco and the brand has remained a go-to for classic wardrobe staples. You can see a few past posts featuring the brand here and here.

SÉZANE:  one  //  two  //  three  //  four

SÉZANE denim will be part of La Liste, the brand’s permanent line. So, unlike most of the highly coveted collection, you won’t have to worry about these items selling out as they will be continually re-released! The brand offers three classic fits, the ‘Perfect Slim’, the curve accentuating ‘Brut Sexy’, and the higher-waisted, retro ‘Mom Jean’. The slim is offered in a variety of washes and seasonal colors, while the brut and mom styles are only available in more classic blue shades. On top of those, Sézane also offers three more fashion forward silhouettes, ‘The New Parisien’, which is a button front, high-waisted sailor style, ‘The Feminine Boyfriend’, and ‘The Flare’. You can see me wearing ‘The New Parisien’ in dark blue here. I love the nautical vibes of this style, it’s so easy back to a striped tee and flats, or more dressed up with a bow blouse and heels!

VERONICA BEARD:  one  //  two  //  three  //  four

VERONICA BEARD introduced their denim line a few months ago, focusing on the skinny jean while also referencing some of the most memorable fashion moments from the 70’s and 80’s. The results have all the right details including slight flares, exposed buttons, raw hemlines, and tuxedo stripes. The brand has landed on two rise options, a 10″ and an 8.5″, to round our their fits, with various leg shapes offered in each. I have the Carolyn 10″ Baby Boot with the Red/Navy tuxedo stripe. I love the exposed button fly and cropped, tomgirl silhouette. I can see myself wearing this style back to some of this fall’s more trendy items like a band jacket, 70’s inspired turtleneck, or a chunky block heel.
