UNDER $100 // SPRING FORWARD
Today I am rounding up some spring-forward finds by category, and everything is under $100. I tend to wait on making big purchases until I am truly in the midst of a season, and oftentimes use the pre-season time to stock up on more affordable staples that can help round out my seasonal wardrobe. So far, here are a few things I’m eyeing…
In the dress category, I’m looking for simple, striped sundresses and lace midi dresses in spring forward hues. To compliment, in the shoe department, I’m on the hunt for go-with-anything bow strap sandals (in muted pink) and a darker solid block heel mule. For swim, I tend to stay a bit more classic, and have always preferred one piece suits. This season I’m looking for unexpected ginghams (like this bowed beauty) and tonal stripe patterns in warmer colors. In the sunnies department (always my fave), I’m coveting shapes in the grunge 90’s vein, albeit in spring forward and feminine frame colors. I love having a good lightweight jacket heading into spring, and have already fallen in love with a few twill utility pieces from Old Navy (that have been updated in pretty dusty rose hues here and here). At under $50, they are such a great value. For bags, I am feeling for structured satchels and crossbody pieces (and with gingham top of mind, this one is a winner). And finally, in the sweater category, I’m loving the comfort of more slouchy silhouettes, and with fun details like a sporty raglan sleeve (under $30!) or a flared cuff, you simply can’t go wrong.
