Question: What has been your most rewarding experience having a blog?
Answer: I don’t think I have just one. This blog has brought me so many amazing experiences I will never take for granted. The opportunity to become an entrepreneur and own my own business, ability to network with incredibly creative people, travel the world, and gain access to a parts of the fashion business I never thought possible (despite having been in the industry as a merchandiser for ten years) are the few that immediately come to mind. The internet, social media, and radical transparency have completely re-shaped what many felt was a very closed-off industry, and now, all of a sudden, I feel like I have a front row seat. Over the eight years of running Atlantic-Pacific I have met so many incredible people who challenge me, champion for me, and inspire me. Many I am now proud to call good friends. These are people I never would have met had I not started. So, the short answer is that the people I have met, have, and will continue to be the most rewarding experience for me.
