I love a good pom pom pick-me-up. Dreaming of a warm weather getaway and thinking back on this post from December of 2016.
Question: What is your typical workout routine?
Answer: I used to be an avid runner and actually ran the Nike Women’s marathon many moons ago! Once I moved to NYC, I became distracted and really haven’t fallen into as frequent a workout routine as I’d like. About three years ago I tried to push myself to work out every day, but realized with my schedule and frequent traveling, it just wasn’t a priority to work out EVERY DAY. Now, I am more realistic and try to do cardio (3-4 miles), core work, and light weights about 3 times per week. I have done a few classes here in NYC, but they were just not really for me. I lack real coordination and timing, and trying to keep up with a dance routine or synchronized movements was sort of a struggle for me – but probably highly entertaining for the people in the class!
