SPRING ACCESSORIES WEEK // STATEMENT EARRINGS EDIT
The next stop on the Spring Accessories Week tour is the statement earrings edit. I tend to start wearing earrings much more when the weather is warm, and with spring in full swing, the time is now! Below are a few of my fave statement earring categories.
ONE // Let’s take a moment to fangirl on fringe. It has always been such a staple when it comes to statement earrings, but this season I love the re-interpretation of the trend. I actually own these as seen here! They remain a favorite being dramatic, yet lightweight, so they won’t be the earrings that end up in your purse an hour into dinner. We’ve all been there!
TWO // Florals for spring? Groundbreaking. I know. But these three floral statement earrings are so, so good. When it comes to jewelry, Jennifer Behr and Lele Sadoughi are two of my absolute favorite designers right now, so no surprise their earrings for me are on repeat!
THREE // The hoop hasn’t always been high on my list, but this spring my mind changed. I love the pearl version below, it sits perfectly at the intersection of prep and trend.
FOUR // Bling, bling! These fancy stunners are the perfect statement pieces for all those spring special occasions (for most of us that means weddings)! The linear drop has grown on me and I might just have to dive in this season and pair it with an open neckline and sleek hairstyle for a spring soiree.
FIVE // Who said preppy had to be boring? These three twists on tradition are three styles I am loving. Gingham and pearls have never been so emotional. Still conservative enough to wear to your grandmother’s Sunday night get-together, but also interesting enough to work with this top!
SIX // The cutest sparkle I ever did see. I good emotional icons, and these lil fruit and bee studs pulled at my heartstrings. They are the perfect compliment to that easy weekend jeans and tee look. A conversation starter for sure.
SEVEN // Tort (faux of course) has always been one of my favorite materials used in jewelry. It is that mix of neutrals that pairs perfectly to most any color. With the return of resin in jewelry I love seeing tort pop up in so many unexpected ways. I’m hoping this trend continues (quickly switching all everyday jewelry to resin).
