HALFWAY THROUGH 2018 // MY TOP POSTS

I can hardly believe it but 2018 is halfway over! Before we get into the second half of the year, I wanted to highlight some of my top posts through the first half. 2018 has already been one for the books. I have traveled to Cartagena, Savannah, Charleston, Florence, Seattle (twice!), and Paris (twice!). On Atlantic-Pacific, I’ve published over 100 Notepad posts, 80 Outfit posts, over 50 Edit & Etc. posts, and countless Instagram images. This past March marked my eighth year running my site and I couldn’t be more thankful for your supports, likes, shares, and comments over all these years. When I was in my early twenties and living in San Francisco starting my blogspot site, I couldn’t have imagined this tiny corner of the internet bringing me such joy. Atlantic-Pacific has challenged me, opened my eyes to new possibilities, and of course brought me so much happiness sharing my love of fashion with all of you!

Now for some of my top posts and 2018 highlights…

THE BEST PHOTOGRAPHY LOCATIONS IN NYC // I get quite a few emails about the best places and times to shoot in NYC. I decided to put together a full recap (you can view it here) of my favorite spots, including a few tips and tricks!

Senreve // Blair Eadie Atlantic-Pacific
TWINNING AND WINNING // On a frigid NYC morning, I roped one of my best friends into meeting me downtown to bring this bright color story to life. Most of the time, my outfits are simply what I throw on for the day, but I also love to concept new shoot ideas and plan out specifics to create more thoughtful, editorial stories.

Atlantic-Pacific // Blair Eadie Snow Post Red
SNOW CITY // A bomb cyclone hit New York City earlier this year. While the pictures came out incredibly graphic and cool, shooting in the snow was FAR from easy. The wind was whipping so fast that we had to take these on a crazy high shutter speed and could only shoot outside for about 5 minutes at a time! You can see the full post here.

Atlantic Pacific Polka Dot Jumpsuit
POLKA DOTS IN CHARLESTON // I headed south to Savannah, Charleston, and Cartagena to kick off the official start of Spring and highlight all my favorite pieces and trends for the season. This wall of wisteria in downtown Charleston made for the perfect backdrop and we hit it right at peak bloom! You can see this full post here and my complete Spring kick-off recap post here!

Resort 2018 Bag Atlantic Pacific Blogger

RESORT BAGS // About a year and a half ago I began to diversify some of the content on Atlantic-Pacific and feature more ‘Edit & Etc.’ posts. These editorial collage round ups feature all of my favorite finds from around the World Wide Web. It is a fun exercise in window shopping and this post has been one of your favorites so far this year!

MY BLOGGING JOURNEY // I got a little more personal in 2018 and penned a few longer form posts. One of the most read was about my blogging journey and another that was well received was about my career in merchandising. The internet, and specifically social media, has become a place where I see my peers sharing more and more about themselves and their personal lives. Outside of sharing my love for style and fashion, I have not been extremely comfortable sharing much more than that. That being said, I have found these types of essays to be a great way to connect authentically with all of you without making me feel like I am oversharing!

Atlantic Pacific Blog Rain Win a trip to Scotland with hunter!
BFF RAIN OR SHINE // When Hunter approached me to help promote an amazing giving away that they were hosting, I knew I wanted to create something really dramatic. Enter one of my best friends and me at 6am on the Brooklyn Bridge in sideways blowing rain. It was #totallyworthit! These are some of my favorite images from 2018! See the full post here.

THE MOST INSTAGRAMMABLE CAFES IN NYC // I had such a fun time looking through old memories and posts in order to put together my NYC photography locations guide that I decided to do another one focusing on my favorite insta-worthy cafes. This was one of my top posts, and if you haven’t seen it, you can check it out here.

PRINCESS PEACH // You know I love a good tulle skirt, pearls, and generally all things pastel, so this post ended up being the perfect blend of all my favorites, and apparently yours as well! You can see this peachy look in all it’s glory here!

Atlantic-Pacific Cartagena Florals and Bucket Bag
CAFTANS IN CARTAGENA // I returned to Cartagena for the second year in a row, because it is simply stunning, and such a lively and exciting city to visit. You can see this post here and a recap of my recommendations on where to stay, what to do, and where to eat in the old town here!
