PRETTY IN PINK MEMORIES // NEW PLAID SUIT

Pink is a color that I wear pretty much year round. When I saw this Cher Horowitz-esk matching plaid suit I knew it was too fun to pass up. While I am not quite ready for a full blown fall plaid, I love how transitional this plaid pattern feels. Below, I am taking a trip down memory lane, revisiting all of my favorite pink moments, as well as rounding up my current favorite pink picks – some for wear now and a few for fall forward.

This look // Plaid blazer. Plaid skirt. Converse. I wanted to wear these pink converse shoes with this plaid suit, but somehow managed to lose one (just one!) on a recent trip. Sometimes I can even surprise myself! Sunglasses: Illesteva (now in lilac here…I don’t need another pair but HOW.CAN.I.NOT.). Bag: Chanel. Sweater: Everlane (where I buy almost all of my basic cashmere sweaters).

If you are looking for a sweet rain coat in pink, I also love this one as well as this one. For the more fashion forward gal, I also recommend these rain loafers in pink (I have them in navy)! Atlantic Pacific Pink SuitAtlantic Pacific Pink Suit Pink suiting! Suiting is something I will be investing heavily in for fall. As someone who loves a matchy-matchy look, I am elated that suiting is trending again. This pink Ganni suit was something I bought and almost returned as I wasn’t sure how often I would wear it. Surprisingly, it has become one of my most worn items this year. The easy fit, stretch ponte material, and bright color, made it much more versatile than I first imagined. While it is now long gone, I also love this suit and this suit – now on sale for fall. I typically dress down a suit by opting for a sweater or cami instead of a collared top. This pink sweater and this option are currently sitting nicely in my online cart. If you are hesitant to commit to a full suit, but love the idea of a pink blazer, this one is priced at just $88 and appears much more expensive than the price ticket suggests!

ATLANTIC-PACIFIC // MILLENNIAL PINK
Sometimes a pop of pink is all you need to complete a look. My pink Mansur Gavriel bag and Chanel pink bag (featured in the plaid look above) sometimes feel as though they are glued to me. Bucket bags and berets were big last fall, and I think will only be bigger come this September. This pink bucket bag and this pearl pink beret are two of my favorite recent accessory finds. If you aren’t quite ready to start shopping fall (I am for sure dragging my feet) these bow slides and these bow slides will both be precious additions to any closet. See the original posts here and here.

ATLANTIC-PACIFIC // PINK IN SAVANNAH Last, but certainly not least, is the pink dress. I am typically more of a skirt person – as I love to challenge myself by mixing and matching a look instead of throwing on a dress. But, once the temperatures of high summer hit, I am all about a good frock. Personally, I am loving this bright, flowy maxi dress, but if you are more of a sweet fit and flare dress lover, then this one, with its subtle stripe, is for you. For the floral fanatic, this sweet mini is amazing (while just a tad bit short for my everyday wear, I would totally use this as a cover-up) as well as this vibrant floral midi.
