MY MOST WORN PIECES OF THE YEAR // 2019 TOP TEN

Each year I love to look back and reflect on some of the most popular items I shared or the trends I was personally loving. 2019 was full of color, layering, stripes, and tulle (duh)…scroll down to see my most worn pieces of the year!

FAUX LEATHER PANTS // This pair of pants and this pair of joggers were pretty much worn at least once a week this fall in NYC. They ended up being the piece for an off-duty look, but over the past few months I also found ways to dress them up!

THE BOLD BELT // A cinched waist just makes everything feel more feminine. We launched a wide elastic backed belt last year as part of my collection – and then I wore one nearly every other day. I knew I wanted to bring them back for fall of this year! We ended up assorting this style in a smooth leather, an embossed croc, and possibly my favorite, metallics! These have to be my most worn accessories from 2019!

CHARLOTTE TILBURY // I shared my daily make-up routine here and as you can see Charlotte Tilbury is the star of the show. I am particularly fond of the Flawless Filter, Magic Cream, and the Filmstar Duo. Her products bring out the best in my skin and leave me feeling like the best version of myself!

THE PERFECT SUNDRESS // I am always on the hunt for anything-but-boring staples, and when I came across this sundress, I knew it would be in my closet for years to come. When I am in warmer weather I find myself living in it! No surprise that I now own it in multiple colors. Flowy, easy, and feminine, but still has a lot of drama – just the way I like it!

TIGHTS, TIGHTS, TIGHTS // I discovered my deep love for colorful tights last fall and have been growing my collection ever since. This season I also ventured into printed tights, everything from plaid to floral to polka dot. You can read all about where to find my favorite tights right here!

LAYERED NECKLACES // This year I decided to fall back in love with layered jewelry – necklaces in particular. This Brinker & Eliza necklace appropriately named the ‘showstopper’, and this gorgeous Aurelia Demark pendant are two of the most treasured items I received this year. I have a feeling that I’m not done layering and will continue finding new ways to stack my gems and jewels well into 2020.

HEADBANDS // So, I initially started my collection with this pearl headband which then quickly snowballed into a full blown obsession. I did an entire post earlier this season on where to find all my favorites and how I have been styling all of these fab styles. You can check that post out here.

FEATHERS FOREVER // In 2019 I fully embraced the feather. My current favorite feather styles include this jacket, these jeans, and this bag. I also discovered this brand earlier in the year that creates the most fabulous feathery pieces. Whelp, I ended up buying not one, not two, but three of their styles! Oops.

THE SLEEK PONY // Okay, okay, I kind of giggled putting this on the list, but it is true. One of my my most worn styles this year has been…a hairstyle! I began wearing my hair back more in an effort to stop heat damage from blow drying and curling everyday, to simplify my morning routine, and to keep things more focused on fashion – I found that wearing my hair back allows my outfits to really take center stage! 🙂 To see how I achieve this look, click here!

SENREVE BAGS // I love bright colors, and that certainly doesn’t stop when it comes to bags. I have been a long time fan of Senreve for their quality, functionality, and ease. More recently, I have also been loving their expansion on material offerings and exciting new color ways! Shop them here.
